Feb. 24th, 2005 08:28 pmWell, yeah. Getting back into the swing of things, what with classes and meetings and all that jazz. Not thrilled about having all kinds of homework again, but c'est la vie when you're a college student, I suppose. Especially one masochistically studying lots and lots of english. But things are going relatively well, as Browncoats is up and running again and I have been able to make Anubis, Bastet, and Sehkmet dolls for myself and a Daniel Jackson doll for Krista. I do love having projects. I should borrow a digicamera so I can take their picture and post it. You know, for posterity and my own self-praise. I enjoy that on occasion.
Also, I am excited at the prospect that STD (Sigma Tau Delta, the English fraternity that I am a member of) is putting on a ren faire this spring in conjunction with APO and SUCO. It should be vair cool and hopefully a good time.
Having a bit of agita over housing for next year (where to live, who to live with, etc) but I know we will figure it all out. Also having some minorly whelming issues about mounting readings and less-than-desired paper scores, but I shall endeavor to improve for the next ones. And the fact that I work out of a workbook and do simple excercises for French homework reminds me of Middle school and Freshie french in High school, but that's how it goes I guess.
Now I shall make up some icons for Browncoat site and put of my Enrique reading and my taxes for a little while longer, as I revel in the fact that I am gaining points that probably will mean little or nothing in the long run. Like Who's Line. But I like em. So there.
