Um. Saw Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy, and it was quite amusing. I want to read the other books, but right now I must read The Shining.

Erm, saw poor Mattie in the hospital. He's a sick boy! He's hooked up to like four bags of different fluids and he isn't entirely lucid (mostly cause of the pain meds, I think). I used to have a huge phobia of appendicitis when I was a kid for two reasons. 1) At age five I stumbled on a tv show where somebody died a frightening death from appendicitis. 2) When I was young, my step-father was a hypochondriac (sp?) and always thought that if he had a stomach pain, he had appendicitis. So, then, did I.

But Matt is o-kay. He'll be there a few more days, but then he'll come back to us. (yay!)

Um . . . my mum and sis were here over the weekend. They came for the concert and hung out for a while. Took away a bunch of my stuff in mom's new jeep (HA!) so that I don't have to laugh myself sick in three weeks when I pack Toby up to go home (finally!).

Oh. And now I'm a brunette.

Brunette??? HOLY GOD IN HEAVEN I NEVER THOUGHT YOU'D EVER CHANGE YOUR HAIR COLOR HOLY CRAP I CAN'T BELIEVE IT WOW. Ok, done with the initial freakage now. Of course, if I see you, I'll probably faint. I bet you look sooooo different, too. It's official, as soon as you get home, we must hang and you have to show me pictures of Ireland and the new do. Got that, biotch? I'll probably be living at the resort by then, and you can come and I'll show you around. Brunette. WOW. Is it really dark, or more like my (natural) color? WOW, I say. WOW.

It's not terribly dark, but it's a big change for me. I'm all brown-haired. Weeeeiiirrd. Heh. I think it may be a bit darker than your (natural) hair color, at least on the top. Krista and Noelle and Suzi and all say it looks good, but I'm paranoid that there are like spots and stuff on it, like "zebra hair." But that might just be me. Who can say? He he he.

Well, as you were already intellectually smart, no. But for the common sense and understanding of things? This might improve quite a bit with your new color. But remember, it's only artifical intelligence.

Well, when you were blonde and I had brown hair, you still got better grades than me, so, the whole "blonde hair makes people dumb" thing must be a myth.
But. . .now you'll know what it's like to not stand out in a crowd. Then again, so many people now have bleached their hair that maybe you still will stand out. Who knows. But, all the same, I'm still dying to see it (no pun intended). :P
