Sammie and Danny

Yay, more dollies! These are my two Stargate dolls. The bespecktacled boy is Danny (Dr Daniel Jackson) and the blondie girl is Sammie (Major Samantha Carter). Here are some pics of them in their pjs!

 

 

Because there are lots of pictures, and I want to compare the doll to the actual person

 

Sammie first. I made every stitch of this doll myself, and every outfit she has. That's all me, handsewing. Oh yeah.

Okay, Sammie in uniform.

Look at her cute shoulder patches! And the real girl who she's supposed to resemble.

 

And now Sammie in her Gamekeeper outfit. (Yes, those are frog clasps, and yes I made them. Out of yarn).

 

Okay, that's Sam in the foreground (with Daniel in the back) and that's what my Sammie is supposed to look like.

Okay, now for 2010.

 

Sam is in the middle of the second picture there, and my Sammie's outfit is a replica of that.

 

Okay, now for Danny. I made Danny for Krista, with lots of sewing help from her (to speed up the process). Danny was the first human doll I ever made, and let me tell you, putting in the hair was a (painful) learning experience.

Yeah, I know the actual pic isn't that good, but whatev. You get the idea.

I know, I know, his shirt and tie aren't black. But blue is nice!

And now just a picture of Danny in the sweatshirt I designed for him. ( He he he)

 

Yay. Aren't they cute? I also have a Skaara doll that I made for my sister, which is at home. He only has Abydos robes like Daniel's. They were really fun to make. If anybody wants one give me a *hint-hint-birthday* with a name. I am gonna try to make a Teal'c (complete with goa'uld) and a Jack doll, and maybe a Danny for myself this summer. I have also been entertaining the idea of making a Catalina doll, but that will get really complicated. Anyway, here ends the cut that I made so nobody gets annoyed at a super long, graphiccy post.
