Good Day
I had a pretty good day today. In horsebackriding class, I got to ride my darling boy Willie (I am SO gonna miss him next semester) and we got to canter! Thank you, funnest thing I've done in a while, especially since I had the crop! (Yes! A stick to beat that lazy lump of horseflesh!) Oh, my Willoughby, my Willie Winn. He's such a good boy.
Got to draw pictures in VicLit and SuperLit without getting in trouble. Finished up ALL the pics for Krista's French book (wheee!).
Yeah, that's about it. But it's the simple things, you know? To get to canter on my Willie-Boy for like five minutes is enough to make my day. Plus some silliness. Yay to silliness.
Okay, now back to my depressing world of homework and deadlines until Thursday when I get to go back to horseback riding.
-PS- By the phrase "beat that lazy lump of horse flesh," I only mean that I gave him a tap on the shoulder with a little leather crop. It doesn't hurt him any more than getting pat on the side of the neck with my hand, getting jabbed in the stomach with my heels or than getting all strapped up with girths and bridles and etc. I don't want anyone to mistunderstand, because the last thing I want anytone to think is that I beat horses. ANYWAY. Yay.
