Busy busy busy

Why is it that when I'm home I feel like I'm always running somewhere to do something so that I can run somewhere else to do something else?

Oh, yeah. Cuz it's true.

Thursday, I went to Mr B's last concert. *tear* I made Kerri and Kodi go up on stage with me afterwards to give him flowers. Then I helped my mom cut cake at the refreshment table. That's always madness. You can NEVER cut it fast enough for all the people waiting on line. After that, me, Kerri, Chelsea, Kodi, and Jon Pickard (who I never really talked to much, but is still a cool guy) went out to Deitz(sp?) diner and had milkshakes, and then we went to Kinderland and played on the swings and slides and chest level monkey bars. It was nice to see the boys, cuz I hadn't sen them in a long time. Kodi hadn't seen me since before I cut my hair, which was in January. I missed him. Stupid boy.

Friday, I worked the 8-5 shift. Bleck. With the two newest people, Sarah and RobBob, but I think I went over this one already.

Saturday, I woke up at like 9:30 and cleaned up my room until like 11, when I set off to pick up Noelle so we could go to Oneonta for LotDS. Of course, I missed the exit off 209 and ended up headed for the Kingston Rhinecliff Bridge, which was NOT where I wanted to be. I took the only exit around (onto route 32) and eventually got to Noelle's house. But I was like 40 minutes late or something. So we SPED (and I mean REALLY sped, I was passing cars left and right and going 85 where ever possible) but we still got there are like ten after 2, mostly due to the INSANE MAD TRAFFIC in Oneonta (I mean, what were they giving away?) but when we got to Slade, the only person there was Krista (who has cute new hair). Apparently, Dead Soldier was somewhere NOT at Hartwick, despite the assumption that a LACK OF LOCATION ON THE FREAKING POSTER causes. Whatever. We went to the small instead and I bought Dark Cloud 2 (a video game) for Candy as a shower gift. I was gonna go to the mall before I got Noelle, but then there was the whole getting lost thing and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to ever go. But it was all good. So then we decided to go back to Kingston. I lead the way, by me onesy as Krista wanted to have Noelle in her car in case we got separated (which makes sense) but I was bored as hell. I had to play the music loud to keep from daydreaming. But it was okay. There were only a couple times when I looked in the rear view mirror and the White Stallion wasn't there, at which time I tried to right the situation. Sometimes it worked better than others, but it doesn't really matter as we made it back to Kingston together in our proper amount of peices. Noelle took Krista to her mansion, and I had to laugh. Then we went to Noelle's actual house and saw Lady (cutie) and Dan and Noelle's dad. Then Brooke came and we trucked off to the Ginza. Yummy. This time Krista rode in my car, so I wasn't by meself (yay!). Had good habachi (hibachi? blarg on the phonetic translation of Japanese) but I was nervouse the whole time about getting to Candy's shower on time. I devoured my food with my chopsticks and then ran out of there. Luckily, getting to Broadway from the Ginza was SUPER SIMPLE and I was able to get out to 209 easily and I got to Candy's shower not too late. My mom was already there (of course) but she wasn't mad at me as she was happy to be at the shower and had already had a little champain (sp?). The shower was cute, with the frog prince theme. Candy tried to open her presents as quickly as possible so that people would stop looking at her (which I was grateful for, because I didn't want to leave in the middle of presents, but I had to get to the mall and meet the girls for PoA at 10:40). After that, I had a piece of REALLY GOOD chocolate cake, which Candy said was also gonna be the wedding cake, so yay! and then I had to say goodbye to Candy so I could get to the movie on time. We talked about the video game I gave her (which I ghetto wrapped in Kingston thank's to some scrap paper and markers Noelle found for me) and then she hugged me. And Candy doesn't EVER hug people. I wanted to hug her, but I wasn't gonna ask cuz I know she hates it, but she hugged me. Yay. I love Candy. She's my bestest best friend of all my work friends. Yay. Then I shot out of New Paltz like a crazy woman and got to the mall 5 minutes before the movie started. Talk about timing. It was a good movie. I have a few complaints about it, but I won't get into them here. My Saturday is already way long After the movie, Brooke went home and I took Noelle home because she had to work in the morning. Then I lead Krista to my house. As I was going on 209, Leggett, Mohonk, and the In road, I realized just how backwoods my house actually is. Krista must have thought I lived in the Boonies. He he. The dogs met Krista, TuTu liked her right away, but Nelly hid, like he usually does. We decided to go to bed cuz we were both really tired. We chatted a bit, then went to sleep.

Sunday started early. About an hour and a half after I went to sleep, the idiot dogs started barking. I think they were barking at Krista's car, which had been parked for a few hours already. Idiot dogs. Then the phone rang at 8 am and I had to answer it. It was Hallie's father calling for me to wake her up so she could get ready for her recital. So I woke her, then I went back to sleep. She got me half awake to ask where the needle and thread were, but I didn't know. I slept for a while more, then Morgan Dow from down the road called at like 11 am or something, so I gave up the fight and got up. Krista got up, too, and we went out to the living room. Krista and Nelly were fast friends, since she caught him sleeping and got to petting him before he could run away. They're good boys, the dogs. Mommy gave us bagels and we ate them. Whee. Then I took Krista to the hotel, showed her my place of employment and then took her around the lake. I wish it had been sunnier out, but at least it wasn;t raining. Then we went to the stables and the barn museum where we saw a bunch of old buggies and sinks and crap. Then we went back to my house and Krista left for the Thruway using my directions. I was a little worried that I hadn't been clear because it was a really easy trip for me, but she called and said she didn;t get lost so yay. After she left, my mom came home from work and we trucked off to Hallie's dance recital. It seemed shorter than usual and Hallie is dancing like wow. She's improved a lot since I saw her last spring. I almost got teary. If I didn't know better, I'd say I have PMS. Hmmm . . . Anyway, she danced really well, had some fun costume changes and all. I sat with my step father and his mother and my Aunt Nelly from California who is one of the coolest people I know. She showed us pictures from her trip to Thailand. They were wicked cool. There was one from this menagerie she went to where they raise all the animals together, so they had an enclosure with a dog, a tiger, and a pig all living happily together and not eating each other. It was way cool. After the recital, we went out to eat at the new pizza place. I had good clam pasta.Yumm. Then we came home and watched Buffy! Yay! That's my insane weekend. Sorry it was so incredibly long, but I didn't want to leave anything out.

Yesterday I worked. It was dull. Today, I have lots to do again, a WISE presentation to attend (yay Chelsea!) and a concert to go to (my sister's band concert, but also the last concert of Ms Thomas, who first taught me how to play the trumpet:(). Anyway, I have some dogs to throw out the door and some breakfast to eat, so I leave you with this last thing.
