omg lj!
I am going to attempt to make a post to lj without posting pictures of Tauri. I have a life outside of my dog. I promise. Like, class.
Like the class today were we danced a rumba and ate candy. (I can READ!)(Because this was a 300-level english class).
Like all the homework I'm not doing because of the severe swelling in my brain which the doctors are calling "senioritis." Apparently it causes the stupid sections of my brain to swell to such an insupportable size that it collapses the smart parts of my brain (I cAn reAd!).
I would type some Old English here just to be annoying, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the right characters. (LJ should have thorns and eths and aeches! Anglo-saxons have to post to their lj's too).
Oooooooooh, and in other news, I have the SWEETEST SCHEDULE KNOWN TO MAN for next semester. I am taking three classes (Intro to Web Development, Shakespeare II, and Britain in the 1890's) and they are all on Tuesday/Thursday. Which means, for two days out of the week, I have six and a half straight hours of classes, but I also have FOUR DAY WEEKENDS every week, with a day off in the middle. I'm pretty excited. Unicorns dancing around excited. Plus, despite the mounting terror with regards to my thesis, I have a great advisor and I am really excited (i.e. geeky) about my topic.
Congratulations! You are Jane Bennet, a naive, sweet girl who thinks the best of everyone. Careful though, people may take advantage of your kindness

Which of the Pride & Prejudice Sisters are You?

That said, Monday/Wed. 6 hours straight of classes, and on Monday, some two hours later I have another 2 and a half. And because of the bus schedule, I lose an hour of those two hours.
A word of warning: it's easy to lose track of all your assignments in such a schedule and just slack off, especially if you have encroaching senioritis. I'm actually looking forward to my more spread out schedule next semester because it'll give me more of a framework with which to (hopefully) schedule homework around.
Then again, I don't have to worry about a sodding thesis until grad school!
As for the quiz...guess I should have noticed it was 'sisters' huh? That was an...interesting quiz for me to take. Got Elizabeth though. ;)

I'm certain, however, that I envy your classes next semester. They sound most interesting. (And senioritis is forbidden at the high school here - otoh, it only strikes in spring, not autumn. So mayhap you have it in a more virulent form).

But, El Alquimista isn´t so horrible. I certainly am familiar with the word for sheep now.
Oh yes. Have I ever mentioned the Buffy eps in Spanish? Or the fact that Niles showed up on some random Brit sketch comedy show that they show here with subtitles?
I heart Europe.

Are you talking about Little Britain, with Anthony Steward Head as the prime minister? I saw that on the plane to England. It was pretty funny, but kinda gross at times, too.
