Okay, y'all can call be a big giant geek if you want to, but I'm excited. I just found out that I was accepted as a staff writer for the new Firefly podcast, FireflyTalk (I know the name isn't exciting, but the podcast is really cool). It's a compliment podcast to the Signal, which I have been listening to and compulsively downloading for the last few weeks.
Yes, it sounds like more work. I have to write essays now that aren't going to be graded. BUT, I get to write about something really interesting (and geeky, don't forget geeky) and it'll be heard by crazy amount of people, if the Signal's listenership says anything about how well Firefly podcasts can do.
I am really excited about this. Probably more excited than I should be, but whee! I just bumped up my geek-cred like a hundred points! Yay me!
Now, to start planning my next feature . . .
