Got home without a hitch
Yay. I'm home. It's funny how you can spend all this time at one place, feeling like this was the way it was supposed to be, these are the people in technicolor and doby surround sound and all that, and all the other people are these sepia shadows that you know are just as real as the people in the other place, and you still love them all the same, but they are not where you are. But then, you leave that place and go back to the other place, and then the technicolor shifts, and those people that had been so vivid and here in the other place are now the ones in sepia, and it's almost like you're shifting between lives. And its easy.
Weird.
Anyway, being home is nice. Except that my room is gross with all the crap that I brought home and all the crap that got thrown in here while I was away, and all the crap that my sister brought in since I got here.
Since being home, I watched some Stargate (Broca Divide and Solitudes :) ), played video games with my cousins, quoted Buffy with my sister, teased my dogs, hung out with my mom, and took a bath. Yay. I also stared at my passport, just to make sure it was real. Yay again. I'm going to Ireland.
Yay. Tomorrow, I have to go out to Po-town to get some prezzies for my mom and Candy. Then I'm gonna settle in for a loooong winter's nap. Until I have to work. I don't know when that will be yet as somebody (Amy or Libby is my thought) has lost our freaking schedule. Hopefully it will be found soon so I can know when I have to go back to the Christmas-treed, carol-filled, glitter-coated hell that is the Mohonk Mountain House Gift Shop. Oh, how I missed it.
Oh, and also, my wrist is feeling a lot better. I can go without the ace bandage for most of the day now, unless I fall on it, in which case it still hurts like a bi-otch.
